The Red River's Home Outfitter
Since 1985, Red River Valley has been the only outfitter operating right on the Red River in Adams, Tennessee — about 45 minutes north of Nashville and 20 minutes east of Clarksville and Fort Campbell. We're a family-run canoe and kayak outfitter on a shallow, sandy-bottomed Class I–II stretch that's easygoing enough for first-timers and full of a quiet that's hard to find anywhere else.
Floaters drift past the historic Bell Witch Cave, around gentle bends, and through stretches of river that feel unchanged from the way they've always been. Kids who first paddled with us come back years later with kids of their own. That continuity — that sense of a place that holds — is something we take seriously.
Alongside the river trips, this land has long been home to community festivals. Events like The Tye-Dye Fest and Kinda Spoopy grew out of a belief that the best things happen when people gather here together. We're the closest canoe rental and campground to Clarksville, TN and Fort Campbell, KY on the Red River — and we plan to keep it that way.

The Next Chapter Is Ours to Write
We didn't set out to buy a business — we set out to find a place our own family could unplug and be outside. The moment we stood on this riverbank, we knew. Now we're turning that same feeling into a real family outdoor destination: better camping, better canoeing, better places to gather — without losing what already makes this river special.
We're expanding what Red River Valley can be — more ways to stay, more reasons to gather, more music under the Tennessee sky. The river has been here for a long time. We plan to be here just as long.
