Common Questions

Do I need experience to canoe?

Not at all. The Red River is a gentle, slow-moving river — perfect for beginners. Our staff will give you a quick orientation before you head out.

Can kids come?

Absolutely. Families with children are welcome. We provide life jackets in all sizes. Children under 12 must wear a life jacket at all times on the water.

What if the weather is bad?

We monitor conditions closely. If we need to cancel due to weather or unsafe water levels, we'll update the information and offer a full refund or reschedule.

Can we bring alcohol?

Adults may bring alcohol in cans. No glass bottles are allowed. Please drink responsibly and pack out everything you bring.
